Meaghan L. McGinnis joined the firm in 2017. Born and raised in Livonia, New York, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University. She then earned her Juris Doctor degree and graduated from The Pennsylvania State, Dickinson School of Law.
During law school, Meaghan was a member of the Penn State Law Review and was selected to be a member of the Editorial Board as an Articles Editor. Meaghan had the chance to work in Washington, D.C. with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation and the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review as a legal intern. She also interned in Rochester with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York.
After law school, Meaghan returned to New York to be closer to her family and is excited to grow her practice in Wyoming County. After coming on board with DiMatteo & Roach, Meaghan has primarily practiced in the areas of Matrimonial and Family Law, Municipal Law, and Real Estate Law and looks forward to continuing to diversify her practice. She also serves as town and village prosecutor for many of the municipalities of Wyoming County.
In addition to the practice of law, Meaghan enjoys traveling, hiking, watching Syracuse games, and spending time with her family.
